Goal: To develop quick combination play through a five-player passing pattern that ends with a finish on goal, with emphasis on timing, accurate passing, and continuous rotation.

The player approaches the ball in a low stance with hands apart on the stick for control. The left hand guides at the top of the stick and the right hand supports lower down. The ball starts slightly in front of the body. The stick stays close to the ground, and the player pushes through the ball with a smooth arm action and weight transfer from the back foot to the front foot. The follow-through points toward the target to keep the pass accurate.
The player carries the ball with soft touches on the stick's flat side while staying balanced and slightly crouched. The knees remain bent and the hands stay relaxed to allow quick stick movement. The ball stays close enough for control but far enough forward to maintain speed. The head lifts regularly to scan for the next pass and the next movement.
The receiving player meets the ball with an open body position so the next option is visible early. The stick face is angled to redirect the ball rather than stop it fully. Contact is soft and controlled, using the hands to cushion the ball and guide it into the supporting runner's path. The timing is important so the lay-off is made as the next player arrives at speed.
The attacker approaches the final pass with the body already prepared toward goal. The feet adjust early so the ball can be struck or guided without extra delay. The hands stay firm on the stick and the eyes stay on the ball through contact. The finish is directed low and accurately toward goal, using the pace of the pass when possible.
